Glimpse of Season 1

Season 1 was a 24 Hours Virtual Hackathon organized on October 31st - November 1st, 2020. We were joined by 500+ superb hackers from 170+ different cities, who all were motivated to build towards solving society’s everyday problems, and ended up building 50+ projects, which was in line with our motto i.e. “Build & Solve”.

Hack This Fall began with a mindset of encouraging new hackers to build unique projects regardless of the tech or field. The only focus was to create something meaningful and enjoy the process of building, while also solving the shared struggles of our surroundings.

For this season, we are taking this a level higher with a 48 Hours Virtual Hackathon; where we are aiming to promote hackers and help them nurture their new ideas and prototypes in various domains. Our motto is also to involve more beginner hackers and support everyone to solve the shared problems of our society, to bring a change in a positive way.

This year, we are focused on creating learning opportunities for attendees while they Build & Solve. We will talk about various technologies, create awareness, encourage others, hack to contribute, and participate in many more exciting events & sessions.

Most definitely! We believe in collaboration and encourage hackers to work in teams of up to minimum 2 and maximum 4 members. You may opt-in to team formation through our Discord Server. Every hacker must be a part of only one team and submit only one project.
We apologize, but all hackathon's projects should be developed during the event from scratch. We want honest conditions for all hackers. That's why all code should be done during the hackathon.
First register on our Devpost page. Once the hackathon starts, you will be able to create the project there. To become eligible for prizes, you must submit your project before the deadline.
The hackers building the project will keep full ownership of the project as it is their intellectual property.
A. We want to ensure a positive experience for all participants. We will be following MLH’s Code of Conduct, we encourage you to read it here.
